I've used TimberLoks throughout the years for connecting treated lumber for retaining walls and when building furniture out of Civil War era barnwood. The benefit of the design is you won't need need to pilot drill anything when building retaining walls, so no need to purchase expensive and rarely used bits to bore a hole for lags. I would pilot and and countersink them for furniture/shelf building simply to hide them and ensure they end up exactly where you want them, as shown.

These worked great. Used them to replace aging loose nails for securing the gutter. Very smooth.

At $3 each, I'm returning them. Highway robbery

Drives into the wood easily and holds strong. The heads are countersunk without predrilling.

The Screws did EXACTLY what I expected of them, my Guttering is now way more secure!! friendly Service, although you should NOT make employee's work when they have communicable diseases!! the Counter/Cash register woman had Laryngitis!!!! These screws were easy to put in with my drill and a socket attachment. Then my landscape timber was all fixed and strong again.

I must have for building decks and so many other different projects...

Worked for what I did.

They worked well for a log bed. Replaced a star bit system. A little jumping when driving in but all 8 screws went in. Used some soap for a few. Suggest some pre-drilling. I used 1/8 12 inch bit.

They are fun to work with. I watched in awe how it connect two ends of the 4x6 lumbers together.

I I used them for connecting rafters to top plate/beams. Work great , held the heavy rafters in place.

Worked great. Make sure to have a quality impact to run in. Never split one log on the log home repair I was doing.

Used them to attach 7-1/2“ half logs to stumps for fire pit benches. Had to pre-drill but did the job nicely with an impact driver.

Perfect for working with 6x6 timbers for landscaping, retaining walls, stairs, etc...One word of advice though is make sure you have a heavy duty drill. My Makita 1/2 inch corded hammer drill barely had enough power to sink these screws, some I had to finish off by hand with a ratchet. Otherwise the screws themselves are great...will use again.
