These things are beautiful - fun to just watch...they work perfectly. Some people break things during installation. I would give these a chance and see for yourself...

Avoid this sprinkler head...
I bought 3 dozen of these for my yard and 6 of them don't work correctly or consistently. They spray a good steam but don't rotate. I have flushed out the lines (multiple times), cleaned the heads (multiple times), and they will work for awhile and then stop rotating. i have swapped the parts between ones that work and ones that don't work with limited success and finally bought another brand for the 6 failures that works great!

Disappointing coverage
Surprised and disappointed with the limited water flow and coverage area. Perhaps I expected too much from these relatively inexpensive sprinkler heads.

Bad nozzle
The nozzle shoots backward, all toro nozzles do this, except the adjustable ones.

Poor quality, flimsy hardware.
The head does a good job beautifully sending streams of water across the lawn, achieving more or less even coverage. Unfortunately, the adjustable head seeps water every time a new stream is launched, creating a pool of water directly under the nozzle. Also, one of the 5 heads i got had a constant stream shooting directly backwards of the main direction.
This is the only nozzle i have ever tried, that i was afraid i was going to break it if i pulled it out of the sprinkler body by grabbing it with my fiingernails. In general, don't waste your money.
I have also tried the other available products, the rainbird product send water with a nice low tragectory but produces a very uneven coverage. The Hunter mp rotator actually gets good coverage and feels firm, but sends streams very high into the air, so it is susceptible to wind. take your pick ...
