The first time we used this shovel the screw holding the pole and shovel part together started to come loose, and due to the design, there is no way to tighten it without damaging/breaking the shovel. Terrible design, and terrible quality for the price.

Our drive and walkways have been totally clear of ice and snow ever since we got the new shovel. Most likely less due to the shovel than to the fact it hasn’t snowed since we’ve had it. Honest evaluation will have to wait until next snowfall.

Perfect for bad backs.

I have not used the shovel yet, but it appears to be well made and durable.

GREAT shovel for fresh snow, not so much for crusted snow.

I PICKED UP THIS SHOVEL AT THE HOME DEPOT STORE IN CENTERVILLE. i HAVEN'T USED THE SHOVEL YET BUT EXPECT TO TODAY, SINCE WE ARE GETTING OUR 2ND SNOW STORM IN 2 WEEKS.

Metal lip kept getting snagged on the cement so got a different one with a curved handle, same manufacturer with a plastic lip and that works great

It is more than adequate for moving snow. It isn't good for breaking up the ice sitting under the snow.

This shovel has been a necessity for me for years. I need the ergonomic handle for my back and the plastic blade because of decks and stone walks that I have to clear. Metal blades cause too much damage. Sadly this season (2023/2024) Home depot seemingly has decided that they will not stock these. I had to special order one.

Works great and not to heavy, but still sturdy.
