If you purchase and it was shipped to a city or state that has temperatures below 40 degrees, the leaves on the plant will turn brown and wilt as tropical plants cannot tolerate extreme cold, you can find the "we suggest not to ship to extreme cold weather states" on the product information section. You can return the plant to your nearest Home Depot store on your next visit for a full refund. We do our best to secure the plant for safe travel but sometimes they are mishandled at some point within the carriers network thus it results in a bit of physical damage. You can return the plant to your nearest Home Depot store on your next visit for a full refund. If possible, we would appreciate a picture so we can evaluate what went wrong. We do our best to secure the plant for safe travel but sometimes the plants spend too much time in a hot environment which caused heat damaged and it is mostly noticeable on the leaves which turn brown. We are sorry to hear your plant arrived with brown spots. Can you provide us with a picture of the plant so we can see what the problem might be? Sometimes the Pilea may show some lighter yellow dots on the more mature leaves as the plant grows but this is common. If this is the case, please care for the plant as instructed. Indirect sun and water when soil is dry to the touch. If in fact you are seeing brown spots then a picture would be useful for us to determine a problem. In the meantime, you can request a return from Home Depot directly either online of you can also return to your nearest store.
