My son lives at A townhouse and the skylights were old & leaking. I ordered two of these skylights and the flashing kit also. I had a man that does roofing work on the side install it The skylights were heavy because these were big ones 46 x 46, but three guys got Them up The ladder. I am so glad that I did it as a DIY and not have to go thru a roofing company and pay a ton. It looks great, 100% improvement. We had a recent rain and no leaks. Very happy!

The product is exactly as described. The seal works very well, so no air leaks. Clean design, and fast delivery!

I had two of these installed by a Velux contractor. In year five--last year--one leaked above the LR. Velux sent out the same installer, who blamed the fire prinkler system---which is not even near the skylights, and was found in perfect condition by my insurance adjuster! Despite the ten-year warranty, and it being only year 5, Velux refuses to fix it! Lots of complaints on BBB re this. I guess they'll next blame aliens! I'll be suing them when the rain stops. Quiet replacement for a cracked dome skylight. Easy install. Good price and appartent quality.

This was a replacement for and ugly plexiglass leaking skylight. So much of an improvement.

This Skylight is perfect for the room we put it over. Easy to install and doesn’t leak.

Bought this for my wife's birthday present. I installed it a month ago and it's been great!

This skylight makes the room! It really does. Only complaint is the separate flashing kit that is needed to install and isn’t included. And it’s $115. Meaning this window costs $365 overall, not $250. So that part was disappointing - but in no way regretting the window - Fantastic light sourch and outlook.

We replaced the old ones with the New Velux and glad we did.

Crystal clear skylight. Quick installation. Order came in sooner than expected. I had to replace a nearby 30 year old plexiglass skylight that came with our track home. The original was cracking but not yet leaking. I wanted to replace it before it leaked! Velux is glass and the view amazing

Installed my skylight 10 years ago and no need for maintenance. Till this day no leaks. Absolutely beautiful addition for my dining area. I definitely recommend it. The only thing I regret was not getting the ones with built in shades. But I added powered shades with remote control and solar panels for the batteries.

Replaced my existing skylights that were nearly 20 years old. Love the look and really appreciate the peace of mind that comes with the warranty.

Our Velux replacement fixed skylight was installed with our new roof in December in our bathroom. ( Previous owners had a skylight installed at some point and it was cloudy with age and in need of replacement. Also, there is no space for a window in this twin home.) I love the sunlight that floods our bathroom every day and also lights up a dark hallway and stairwell!! I don't need to turn on the light when I am home during the day as I am retired. I also enjoy seeing the moon and stars at night thru the crystal clear glass in the skylight. Our roof installer wishes he had one in his home too as he lives in an identical twin house!! I would recommend a skylight to anyone who has a dark stairwell or room without a window. You just can't beat the natural sunlight!!

Had a Verlux that failed from being ok and replaced with a new one. Really good quality and now a vinyl frame instead of wood. Happy with the purchase.

Velux say lifetime warranty. Not true. I have 5 20 yr old skylights velux. All but on started to leak. Pro installer, no issue with anything but the garbage skylights. I do not recommend velux. Stay away. Second set in my lifetime. Leaking again. 20 yr max.

Replaced an old, leaky skylight with this high quality product. Very pleased with my choice!

Of course I meant to check each skylight before installation, but it's easy to get behind when you're getting a new roof and managing an entire upstairs renovation. 3 of the skylights were perfect, but the fourth was the worst caulking job I've ever seen- black caulk smeared across the skylight. I have no idea how this got past quality control, so I'm left assuming that there is no quality control. I've cleaned it up as best I can but it still sucks.
