I purchased this compressor about five years ago to top off my my tires from 20 to 30 PSI. I only use this pump 2-3 times a year. The pump quit this weekend. Knowing that the pump was out of warranty, I contacted Viair to see if this was a common problem. Bottom line, the cost of shipping, parts & labor does not make it worth having repaired. This pump was used very lightly and infrequently. It sat on a shelf in my garage for 99+% of it's life. It should have lasted much longer.

Works great! Gets my tires from 40 to 65 in about two minutes each!

Good quality. Feels very durable Performs well. Easy use Could use some type of heat shield on motor. Does get hot Needs longer battery terminal cord. Or have an extension available All in all would recommend

I bought this for the convenience of inflating my tires in the paddock for a track day. I was able to easily deflate for the track, and re-inflate my tires for OE street pressures. Super easy on my Toyota 86. I love that I don’t need a tank or a battery to charge.

Performs very well. I tow a fifth wheel camper and need to air up tires with every move. Quick, quiet and easy to use.

I bought the VIAR 300P for the trip I am planning to take this summer to MOAB, Utah, to air up the tires on my jeep wrangler after off-roading. Lucky for me I had the air compressor with me when my F150’s left rear tire deflated unexpectedly on the highway. This was the first time I used the VIAIR. It worked great and got me back on my way without the need for a tire change. I am confident it will meet my needs in Utah.

An excellent way to monitor and maintain tire air pressure on our travel trailer and auto. Provides an extra measure of safety.

Bought it to fill up my 265 17R70 tires from 15psi back to 40 after I’m done off roading. Works well, am able to get all four tires done in one session.

Hey guys, this is the one you are looking for. Half an hour ago I took it out of the box, assembled the little bits that needed assembly, and filled a heavy duty truck tire from 20 to 80 pounds. The fill took about 10 minutes (I didn't time it -- just estimating), which was a lot less than I expected. The unit didn't even break a sweat -- at no point did the motor sound strained. It heated up a fair amount, but not to any concerning temperature. As an added bonus, the carry bag it comes in is very nice. I didn't expect a bag of any sort, much less a nice one. Also, the unit it is somewhat smaller than I expected, which I was pleased with as well. Yeah, get this one.

Works as intended. Fills up my 31’s at a decent rate. Learned the hard way not to ever trust there is a working air pump at the local gas station. I carry it to the beach and for off-roading now.

First portable air compressor I have purchased that will absolutely handle my 2500 truck tires.

Works great. Easily tops off my trailer tires to 80 psi. I wish the power cord and or hose was longer but both are easily fixed if needed.

Did it's job. It aired up the tires like it is supposed to, however you don't have a way to regulate air in/out at the valve stem. I had to have someone help me by turning the compressor on/off, as I added air at the valve stem.

Great compressor. Well worth the price.

So far I used the compressor twice inflating the tires of my Jeep Wrangler. It doesn’t over heat and it’s quick ! So far it’s a good product to buy.

My tires were only a couple pounds down. It brought all four up to 36 a few minutes. Took longer to get to the tires then to air them up.

The pump was purchased after much less expensive devices (from other companies) failed. When first received the pump hose connection to the valve stem would not close. I called the company and it promptly sent another hose that works perfectly. The lesson learned for me is less powered devices than the 300P pumping 80lb tires or more, take forever to inflate and will eventually fail.
