Can be dug in flush to ground
Replaced some poor grass along driveway edge with River Pebbles. Scraped old grass and dug shallow trench to sink the edging flush 1 1/2-inch with grass edge and driveway, with weed block on the bottom. Depth is just enough to sufficiently cover. Purchased additional spikes for 1-ft spacing to keep line straighter. Project was 15-ft L x 2-ft W and used 7 bags of rock.

Vigoro no dig edging
Really simple to install. Seems very heavy duty product. I’d suggest buying additional stakes to allow you to put them closer together around radius’s. I had read to level as much as possible the area you are putting down the edging. I think this will promote the edging to stand vertical better and eliminate racking. Def recommended the product along with their mulch.

Not for Florida!
Easy to install, although not enough spikes in the set. Need to buy more separately. Bad quality, can’t take the Florida heat(even now in February). The straight edge we laid, looks more like a snake. I guess the heat expanded it and because it’s fixed to the ground with spkes, it creates a curve between each spike. Looks awful, will never buy this again.

Hello TStromme. Thank you for your feedback. Temperature fluctuations can certainly be the culprit in installation failures. We recommend to allow the edging to heat in the sun prior to installation. This allows the edging to expand fully so that it is at it's largest size when it is installed. Pulling the edging tightly between spikes is also a vital step. This ensures there is no extra material that can expand and wave between anchor points. We hope this helps, and we do appreciate your comments.

Cons: flimsy, looked great for a day the the sun hit it and it looked like a sloppy, wavy design. You have to put a spike in every couple inches to try to keep it straight but the spikes they give you do not hold it in place well.Looks like crap.

I found the perfect edging with this item!!! Super easy / all needed is a hammer for the stakes and maybe a hand shovel for moving mulch back.

It won't stay straight
I installed this last summer. Everything looked great until this Spring. It used to be a completely straight line but now it bubbles out everywhere. I followed the instructions with placement of the pins originally, but when it looked so awful I ended up buying 2 more $20 packages of pins and added those throughout. The intent was to prevent the bubbling but this product just finds new places to bubble out every day. I would not recommend! It's a massive waste of money.

Hi Ande, Thank you for your feedback. While this edging is very easy to install, it can require seasonal maintenance, similar to other seasonal landscape chores. Depending upon the climate where you live, soil type, and installation methods, the edging can react differently throughout the year. We suggest to walk the perimeter of the installation and assure the edging is pulled tightly between spikes. The bubbling you mention can happen as the ground gets saturated with water, heats, and dries, loosening the spikes in the ground and allowing the installation to ease. We also encourage you to make sure the edging tabs are thoroughly covered with your bedding material and the spikes are well secured in the ground. This helps maintain a straight line as well. Easy To Work With
Before we had edgers we used this to create a barrier between the mulch and the grass. This worked well to hold up for 4+ years and weed eating. It is durable and long lasting. It comes with stakes and bends easily to conform to your needs.

Love the no dig
We love that its a no dig edging kit. Use as many of those stakes as you can and even get more if you need more, especially in high traffic areas. We nailed them through our weed barrier as well.

The only edging that should be on the market!
The regular edging that u need to dig to install should no longer exist and is a waste of time.
This product is amazing - the only downside is there are not enough pegs. You can buy extra but they’re plastic, recommend buying galvanised ones (much stronger )

Wavy a year later
We have had this installed a year and two months and it’s still wavy even with following the directions exactly and buying several extra bags of the expensive stakes to keep it straight. We stretched it in the sun before installing, but can’t get the waves out. Even let it sit several months installed and reinstalled it to straighten/tighten the waves and it doesn’t work.This photo was taken on a cool day, a hot day the whole thing is full of waves. In the end it will cost you nearly as much as the steel does and I would imagine that holds up much better.

I needed shorter pieces, but it was easy enough to cut with a side-cutters and knife and it ended up working perfectly to hold in little rock areas. It came with spikes, but I bought extras just in case, however I didn't need them for this project. Very Durable material, but easily bends into place.

It did the job. After reading reviews and the number 1 complaint being not enough stakes I purchased landscaping stakes, and used one in each circle. It was an overkill, but the edger stayed down, I had no problem with the edger curling back, and it made the job easier.
