It looks good to cover the ugly side of my intex pool

We have been using this product for privacy for our pool deck for approx 10 years, this year by far the worst. Broken reeds, loose wires, no privacy at all!! Very cheaply made. Disappointed.

Do not use if you’d like to keep something completely out of sight. I bought this to cover a trash area and you can still see right through it. All the trash is still visible, and the area is almost more of an eyesore. I figured it wasn’t gonna be completely opaque, but man this thing really does nothing. The pictures in the ad are a little deceiving, hence the poor review.

Layered 2 for more privacy. Very pretty and clean looking. Tons of compliments. Covered AC unit too.

So we knew this was going to have gaps but we figured it would add some privacy to an outdoor sitting area it does but at 2 sections together it was what we expected to get from one based on the pictures. We don't want to "hide" from the neighbors but they have a 4yo that loves to come over and help the wife feed the chickens and fish the pond. Now there are areas in our yard that offer 100% privacy even in winter when the bushes and trees do not have leaves but this seating area is right beside our back porch in plain view. In fact right before we got this we went out to relax with some tea and enjoy the sunset and then a little figure appeared at the fence waving. I know we could say no but even then he comes back to see what we are doing so we decided to just go inside. Anyway we got a section of this because 16' was plenty to hide the area. After installing it we were completely dissatisfied at how sparse it is compared to the pictures. Now we noted the listing suggested 2 or more for privacy and we were thinking 2 before we made the purchase but it was obvious we needed at least 2. So we picked up another and installed it only to find out it was not much better. Now we are not going to toss away more money getting another piece when that would put us at the point we could have put up a tarp and gotten much better results. In fact once this gets to the point it has broken or rotted that is exactly what we will do. Now this goes up really easy and looks attractive even if it offers no privacy. It also works on a lightweight post system (we actually used furring strips added to our dog ramp) so you can keep the costs down. The quality and weight was what we expected and it does not detract from the space like other things would. We just wish it had like one more reed for every 3 it has. The picture is the final result with 2 layers.

I need 2’ more to finish my project so do I have to pay for a whole new one to finish ? And it is very sparse

Used fencing wire to attach this to a wire fence. The pictures are not one roll, but two rolls - one on top of the other, so it's a double layer. You can still see the neighbors car. Only had it up a couple weeks so can't say how it will hold up over the long term. It's pretty enough, it smells good but if you're looking for a true opaque experience you're not going to get it with this.

Our landlord has removed the Ivy on the chain link fence so now the backyard and living space is completely open to the road... They refused to add any privacy screen, so I decided to try reed fencing to hopefully provided a little more privacy, but was greatly disappointed:( In the images shown, the left side of the tree is one layer and the right side is two layers... you can still clearly see everything on the other side of the fence. The doubled layer is definitely closer to what I was expecting, but that also means double the cost :( It’s a cute little addition, but is a bit fragile on the ends and doesn’t do much as a privacy fence with only a single layer.

I read through a ton of reviews and looked through all the pictures I could find regarding this product and I can honestly say I’m pretty happy with it. I think expectations need to be realistic for it to make sense for what you want and expect with this fence covering. Because that’s truly what it is: a fence covering. I decided to put this up to cover an old, unattractive chain link fence and our neighbor is also doing the same on their side. You can see from the picture what it looks like when it is on both sides of the chain link and what it looks like just on one side. We are pleased with the results and really hope it holds up for a couple seasons. Installation is easy. We just rolled it out and used galvanized metal wire that we cut into strips and twisted tight with pliers, then tucked it behind the fencing.We wanted the height closer to the original fence so to trim it shorter, we just used scissors. I think it’s a little on the pricier side for what it is, but again, if it holds up, than it’s worth it!

It really ends up looking nothing like advertised or in the picture. It doesn't do anything to ensure privacy besides create a sea through shaded fence. Not sure what's the purpose of this.

Bought this to line our patio ceiling. It was a fun project that went better than expected! The rolls are easy to work with and the product is very natural and tropical looking. My only complaint is that the wire holding everything together is thin metal so for us who live on the water it seems like it will rust and will have to be replaced soon. We have had it up for 14 months now and it is still holding together. We get fairly high winds out here so I would say it is doing well. I think we will probably be good for another 12 months before we would have to either replace it or add support. We did staple the product on to wood beams.

Horrible quality. They were out of the Master Garden Products reed fencing so my only choice was this garbage. Put 2 layers on and can still see right through it. It was cheaper but I got what I paid for. Do not buy this! You can see the difference. The fencing on the right if 2 layers of Master Garden fencing. What a disappointment.

Love this stuff. Gave my roof top some much needed shade and privacy as well!

We used 16 panels of this bamboo reed fencing in our back yard. Secured them with duty Staples over hour take this Staind wooden fence. Turned out beautifully!

Easy to assemble and added privacy!

Used this as a back drop and added privacy around our fence. Looks absolutely gorgeous! Inexpensive and easy to set up! Love it!

Reed is lightweight and easy to handle. Provides a private backyard that showcases landscape. Darker variations in color is most noted for a somewhat muted tone.

My girlfriend was looking for a way to create some privacy in her back yard. We considered bamboo but then found these reed privacy fences. They were super easy to install on the metal fence that was already there. She now has a very nice private back yard that had added a great look and class to her back yard! She is super happy with these! We started on her back fence and she liked it so much she went down to HD and got give more and now her entire back yard is private and looks great! It exceeded her expectations Everything to like about it nothing not to like about it! They were installed about two weeks ago!

Don't be deceived by decent photos or reviews this product is so cheap and totally see thru. Not one Reed is touching the other. In fact, this is dollar store quality as like a gag decoration for a one night tiki party. Thankfully I don't live far so I can return these as they provide no screen or privacy or anything but a tacky looking roll of reed.

My kids and I live in a busy downtown area and our yard has been transformed by this reed fencing! For extra privacy I used two layers, which is definitely worth it for the price. I've used 2 rolls in the Zen yard and 4 rolls in the pool area. I'm very happy with how this reed fencing has held up through 60mph winds and tropical rains. I highly recommend it to anyone for privacy, durability, and ambiance!

I love the bamboo grass! We are using it over the top of our pergola to replace the shade that has worn out.

I purchased this thinking it will not be see through. The unit did not stand up and chipped almost every time I touched it. Home Depot would not allow a refund or exchange because the wrapper was taken off. Waste of $25.

I bought this more to hide the existing ugly fence that was dark gray. I also bought it for decor, not for privacy. One layer doesnt provide much privacy, if that’s what you are looking. This bamboo is very delicate. Overall, I like the look it produced. At the time of this review and picture, its been installed for about two weeks.
