I bought one of these heaters approximatly a year ago, about 4 months in and the button on the top broke. Talked with Vornado Customer Service and got a warranty replacement about a week later. Well Warranty replacement stopped working after 3 weeks of use. 2 units now straight to the garbage. Seems like a good product in theory, but there is just no quality assurance with these items.

This is the most quiet vornado I have purched and keeps temp perfect. Well worth it.

Could be warmer. Additionally, I don't appreciate that it arbitrarily shuts itself off when it wants to. Nor do I like constantly having to make sure it "stands" a certain way so I can turn it on. The digital display however is nice.

I have used the Vornado AVH10 several times and so far I’m pretty happy with it. It heats the area quickly and is very quiet. I like the fact that moving it even slightly cause it to shut off. The only thing that I don’t like is that it blows a gentle cool air when it has reached the set temperature. This a problem for me since the heater is positioned fairly close to where I sit when watching TV which has to do with the outlet location and the length of the somewhat short cord. My Dyson heater does the same so I am sure it is not a defect. The heater does go into what I call the heat maintenance mode when the room temperature reaches the set temperature but the other night the digital display showed the room temperature to be 71 even though it was set at 68. All in all,I would recommend this unit. It was a good price and does the job.

The Vornado VH10 1500 Watt Electric Whole Room Vortex Portable Heater works as expected. It meets my needs to warm a 20"x18" room.

I have had four different units of this space heater, a couple of these white ones, and two of the black version with the remote control. They all made the lights in the room flicker rapidly, as if the electronics inside the heater are pulsing energy to its heating coils. They all did this, at both my house, and my girlfriend's house. If you have LED lights in the same room or on the same electrical circuit you plan to plug this in...please do yourself a favor and pick a different heater.

Beautiful design: classy with streamlined features. Easy to use and very effective & efficient heat source. Would recommend to our family & friends. We also own Vornado Fans for summer use ~ a reliable brand with strong reputation .

This heater does everything it advertises. It took a little while to figure out how to be sure the trigger on the bottom was depressed, otherwise the heater doesn’t work. It is obviously for the anti tip safety feature. Another interesting feature is that when you turn the heat off with the off button, it runs just the fan for 8 seconds, I assume to cool it down faster. I don’t think it needs that, though, as it is only a tiny bit warm to the touch…another very nice safety feature.

What an incredible disappointment. Makes me feel like anyone giving a good review on this ridiculous tiny heater was getting a kick back. I could rub my hands together and blow through them to get more efficient heat in a room. The only place this heater will do some good is in a tiny bathroom. Vornado is a very unequal name for this worthless heater. I am very disappointed and just don't have time or energy to take it back. The sickening thing is I bought two before I checked it out because of the great reviews. Won't fall for that again.

I bought 2 of these heaters less than a month ago. One is working well but the other stopped working altogether. The light comes on reflecting the fact that it is getting power but the heating element and the fan will not come on. I will be returning it for another.

I live in San Antonio, TX and winter can be fairly cold. We have central heat but our apartment is so poorly insulated it's like no heat at all. I bought this particular model because I have a 12-year old VH102 (which still works) but I wanted something that had a digital thermostat on it. Things I like about the new unit: the digital thermostat works within a degree or two; the unit shuts off when it reaches the temp you've selected; and there's a big, easy-to-read temp on the top. The best thing? This unit will keep you warm! It's not made to stand in front of and "warm up" like you would a fireplace but if you read and understand the vortex technology and use it as designed you'll be amazed at the comfort. (If you're buying something to tuck under your desk at work to keep your legs warm, you may need a different model). Other features I appreciate are the safety tip-over and the quietness. The only thing (and it's minor) is the red LED that shows it's on might be too bright (at night) for some people but it's nothing a piece of duct tape can't fix. I like the AVH10 so much I'm thinking about gifting my old one to a neighbor and getting another!

I love this heater. It’s powerful, silent, and attractive. Perfect for my drafty home office, which lacks central air and heat (energy-hogging, expensive units in each room of the apartment). Heats the space quickly and efficiently. Absolutely perfect.

Heats the (small) room very well. But the on/ off switch broke after only a few uses.

Worked fine for while, but then the power button literally just fell off into the machine and it's now a 100 dollar door stop. Never dropped, kicked, and rarely even moved. Just junk. I read other reviews where this happened. You can probably buy something that will last just as long for half the money.

Does a great job warming my office quickly and is quiet enough to have on while I use speakerphone.

I love the safety features of this heater. Cool to the touch, tip safe, and thermostat.

Purchased two - one a gift this past Christmas and one for us around November 2021. The gifted version blows air but doesn’t warm the room. The other warms a bit but when I went to move it to another room, the plug was hot. Fire danger?

I expected it to be hotter. May be returning.
