I have not been able to use the Sander. It was missing the pieces to put it together. I will be bringing it back this weekend.

I like the sander but it has one major flaw. My previous sander had a port built in for dust collection. I could hook up my shop vac and capture a lot of dust. There is no port on the sander. My garage is full of dust now.

The unit was better than anticipated.

The overall quality was not what I expected. The instructions are also not great and There were some extra parts in the box for some reason. I think 3 stars is generous.

The adhesive disk comes off oftentimes, perhaps I need to try another brand. The tilting table is a bit sloppy allows to much play. I'm hoping it will be good for tool sharpening.

Good product

Great sander for the money. The only negative so far is the slop in the miter table and gauge. I will shim up the slider with some silver tape and it should be snug enough for my purposes. If you need a high precision sander, you will need to spend a lot more money. It is still a good sander for a good price.

round sandpaper didn’t stick. replaced with new one and it works fine. Good value.

The Wen 4 in. x 36 in. belt and 6 in. disc corded sander is ideal for what I needed it for. The tilting table is a nice feature and it can be relocated to the belt side as well. The belt sander is great and it can be pivoted 90 degrees to a vertical position, you can also lock it into position between 0 and 90 degrees. The only negative I've experienced so far is it take a bit of time to straighten out the alignment of the belt if it's off. When I first got it it was off-center by about 1/2" and when I would center it up it would run back to the right, then I over-corrected it and it ran back to the left. About 5-10 minutes later I had it right on but it was a bit unnerving for most of that time.

Out of the box this Wen belt sander worked great. Easy to set up and preformed just as expected. For the price point I am very happy with this purchase. Would definitely recommend.

Only used a few times but setup went really easy. The sandpaper that comes with is good and aggressive. Tool rest is decent. Toss the miter gauge as it is pretty much worthless but I've never used one on a sander before. Overall great value for the price

I like the wen 6500 belt sander.I used a very power full belt sander in a steel mill , any grinder will do the job. if you use common seance. do not wear gloves when grinding. belt will grab glove, with your hand in it.always be be cautious, of belt turning. I'm looking forward to buy this wen 6500.

Very easy to set up. Reasonable quality for the price.

works extremely well for "grinding down woods" to make Lures in this case. very well made...extremely reasonable in price. It's "kind of" like a " lathe" My came with 40 grit"cuts" oak fairly fast, pine even faster.

Exactly what was needed. Performs flawlessly.

This sander works very well could use a little more horsepower.

I do small wood working and this works fine for me. I wish it were a little bit steadier, but overall it is fine.
