its tung oil- what more can I say?

Brushed product on as thin as I could with a foam brush. A week later it is still tacky and not dry. Will not use again.

I have used Tung oil for many years on my chestnut and oak floors, several different brands. This was put on 3 days ago and is still oily, usually we can walk on our floors in about 24 hours. I just pray our 150 yo floors are not ruined. I have company coming in a week and I just don’t know what to do!!

Easy to apply, cleanup, and beautiful results. I had better results with this than I did with Danish oil from the same manufacturer.

Works well for the Butcher block I was refinishing for a work bench. Left the finish on the rough side for non slip surface. I like I can recoat piece if needed.

Brings out the beautiful grain, but be patient about letting it dry, at least 24 hours between coats, 3 coats generally does it, A little goes a long way

So far, I really like it. I hope it will be enough to finish my project.

The Tung oil content is 3-5% and this product is for indoor use only. I was mislead by the name and thought it was Tung oil, maybe with a few additives. But apparently it is the opposite. It is a finish with Tung oil as an additive. It caused a deep uneven darkening on my roughly sanded cedar. The cedar looked charred. I was trying sanding and was about to buy a belt sander or planer. With research, I found out the true nature of this product. I bought pure Tung oil and i t looks great!

I sanded the wood up to about 800 grit then started applying the oil. The rubberwood I used absorbed the oil so much that I had to flood the top to keep it wet through the first couple applications. Use a rag. Waited about a day between coats, sanded lightly, reapplied. Rinse and repeat. I got a glass-like sheen by working up to 3000 grit by the eighth coat. Completely worth the time and labor. It shows off the brilliance of the grain and didn’t significantly alter the natural wood color.

I went on easily and seemed to penetrate the wood. It dried to a nice glossy finish and brings out the wood grains beautifully.

After cleaning my very old pine bed frame with Murphy's oil soap I applied this tung oil and the bed looks amazing. This product in concert with the oil soap will be my go to for all wood furniture going forward.

Product is great. However way overpriced compared to what you can get online and delivered the next day. I found that the stuff online was a bit thinker so maybe not as refined but it worked great as well.

Tung oil is working great for moisturizing dry pine walls without discoloring the wood.

Really brings out the colors of the wood. Used it on a slab of Purple Heart and the colors popped!!!
