Love my new Weber performer, really enjoy having a work surface, still breaking in the kettle but so far so good!

This is my second Weber performer in the past 20 years. They last and are very accommodating. Worth the money and I got a good deal on it compared to other retailers.

Outstanding grill. It has everything you need: charcoal storage; great wheels that work easily; excellent metal work surface next to the grill; great ash dispenser; timer; tool rack. The construction is first rate: with a cover, your grandkids could still be using this grill. Assembly was EASY. No need crazy gymnastics to build it.

This is a great charcoal grill! I gave it a 4.5 stars because of a few design flaws and preferences. Previously, I had both the Genesis, and then Spirit grills for at least 10-12 years, the Genesis lasted 9-10 years and Spirit had dangerous design flaws (gas leaks). This new Performer Premium is the perfect height, wheels for easy mobility and locks, temp gauge, timer, with an easier, removable ash pan. In addition, the grill grate has center pan placement, a storage with a side table. The center grill grate is not easy to lift up, or even put back on if adding charcoal. The grill grate can't just be placed into the kettle because exposed bolts get in the way so you have to manuever the grill grate into place. Overall though, I’m very satisfied in the first month of using it at least 5 times.

Perfect grill, can't ask for a better set up. Perfects a small redesign to update certain features. For example the digital clock, that is not very useful in this day and age of cell phones.

My only complaint is that I wish they could make a charcoal container that would be able to with stand the heat. My container for a bag of charcoal has shriveled do to the heat.

So far, the grill is working fine. The user needs to do more grilling and get use to all the features of the grill.

Love the Performer. I had the Platinum charcoal grill for 20 years and the Performer has some nice improvements. The casters makes it easy to move around my deck and the working area is metal vs molded plastic.

Weber engineering continues to improve and impress. I love the extra room the work table provides and the convenience of close charcoal storage with the storage feature.

Very good charcoal grill! Went short of 5 stars for a few personal preferences. I had last performer grill for over 20 years, bottom kettle rusted through so time for upgrade. New Performer Pro’s: Taller in height, front wheel locks, food timer, temp gauge, easier ash pan removal and grill grate has options for adding charcoal, center pan placement and metal side table. That being said, it is a little heavier if moving around. The center grill grate is not easy to remove or put back on if adding charcoal while cooking. There is a spot to hang full grate on backside of grill but not the removable small center grate. Would prefer they give an option included for just a regular grate with side charcoal access. The new grill grate is designed more for accessories you can purchase if you want to go that route. I’m more old school and like the one piece grill grate and a roll of tin foil… nothing you can’t cook like that! Overall though, very happy in the first month!

It replaced an old webber kettle which was 30+ years old. This is much better as it has a work surface, and removing the ash is convenient and easy.

I've had a Weber kettle grill for decades and I love them. My Performer Premium is no exception to that. For the types of grilling I do most often it's perfect. The side table and easy to use wheels make it work for my backyard setup perfectly. Pros: * Great classic Weber kettle * Table * Catch bin (once you do it a few times) * Propane starter (wasn't expecting to like it!) * Storage bin (don't use it for charcoal but for other stuff it's great!) * Color! Love my green Weber! Cons: * The removable center of the grill * Lower damper handle can get very hot * Swivel wheels are small and feel like they will need replacing after just a season or two I really dislike the removable center of the grill. It's a terrible gimmick "feature" that actually reduces the ease of use. The flip-up edges to allow you to replenish coals are great. The removable center makes it hard to remove the grill and put it anywhere. It doesn't work if you try to hang the grill on the special hanger slot on the back of the table. I often still start my coals using a chimney so removing the entire top-grill is needed. The grill business is highly competitive and I know that accessories help to keep Weber in business but this grill design really makes it frustrating to use and keeps this from being a 5 start review which it otherwise deserves.

I love this grill! I’ve been eyeballing it for quite some time now, and I’m happy that I finally pulled the trigger. The one touch cleaning system works extremely well, and the table itself is super convenient for when you are loading up the grill for your friends or family. 10/10 would recommend to anyone on the fence.

This is my third Weber. My first two lasted 12, and 14 years. I loved them. So I Bought a Performer. I "did" love it. It was great. Now the bottom of the grill has rusted to the point that the one touch mechanism will no longer work properly. Whats up Weber?

It’s a good grill, nothing fancy. Looks like it will hold up fine.

I like the grill. It is large enough to serve many people. It is well made. It was reasonably easy to put together. The ash tray works well. I am able to maintain about 400 F in the unit. With more briquettes I could probably get to a high temperature. I was cooking a whole chicken and using just the small semicircular trays that hold the briquettes. I like the way the top is held in the open position. It is out of the way, but convenient.

Have used the grill twice so far and it has performed as well as I was expecting. The grate is a generous size, and the metal work surface is very sturdy. The charcoal bin can double as a garbage bin if necessary, and the wire rack easily stores any accessories when not in use (like the char baskets). Cleanup is very simple with the One Touch cleaning system.

We really love our new Performer grill, but we were a little disappointed when we received it because we thought we order the electronic start. Can this grill be converted?

My last Weber kettle grill was ten years old. Seven years ago I passed it done to my son in law. He still uses it. They last forever. I have a Weber Genesis gas grill that’s great if your in a rush to eat. But I missed my kettle grill, so I bought the Performer kettle grill with a table. It was a great choice. I love the table, storage bin and ash collector. Great improvement from my original kettle grill.

Great layout and a huge upgrade from the standard stand alone 22" kettle grill with this roll around table arrangement. We love it and you will too!
