I was a bit worried about the length of this bulb and about whether it would cast light “back” in the direction of its screw-in base. These worries turned out to be unfounded. I have a pair in hanging lamps with globe diffusers, and they cast lovely, even light in all directions.

Just what I wanted

Pricey but did the job!!

I used all 6 bulbs to replace 6 low wattage neon bulbs that were lighting a large meeting room. These 5000k "Daylight" spectrum bulbs are in white glass ceiling globe fixtures. This made a great improvement to the visibility and ambiance of the room. The 29 watts per bulb is also economical.

Solved a lighting problem.

Gives a lot of light, but like most led bulbs it's on the pricy side.

Nice light I just wish other color temps were still available.

I ordered two of these from Home Depot to use in our torchiere lights. The bulb is large enough to stick out of the top of the torchiere, so that looks weird. Then the actual light produced is harsh and unwelcoming even with it saying it is soft white. I really wanted to like these for the brightness, the cost factor and energy usage but I took them out and put the 200 watt incandescent bulbs back in. Will probably find another place for these like in the garage or workshop.

Bright light @ 3000K (so not too blueish). Stays relatively cool.

Excellent so far. Fits standard size sockets, decent and even illumination. Have not been able to test longevity claims as it has not been a long enough time yet.
