Replacement of old one. Works great!

The fan looks nice. The lights are not that bright. And the remote stopped working. I am going to return it and get something else because of the lighting

I purchased a Westinghouse ceiling fan that said it was remote control only to find out it was not these purchase was a Birthday present so now I was stuck purchasing a compatible remote control.

This remote was easy to install and works perfectly with my older Westinghouse fan. Home Depot shipped it to my local store in 2 days.

Bought for our Hampton Bay fan and it fit like original and works great. The price is nice too.

This is the second unit I installed for the same fan. It appears heat is destroying the electronics that are placed in the "hat" of the fan. The first unit lasted three years,only! So now I have two remote handheld units ;) I wonder if anyone from Westinghouse reads this so that they suggest a better way or give me some credit for the remote and the core.

I had an electrician install this with my new ceiling fan as a cheaper alternative to re-wiring (The fan has 3 speeds and a dimmable light, and it replaced a light fixture on a single wall switch). I have the remote mounted above the light switch and can adjust the fan and/or light when the wall switch is on. I've had it for a few weeks now & it works great.

Fairly made product! Operates at any point in my house (walls, stone walls, multiple steal equipment - are not a problem). I did not like the size of control - looks too bulky. Otherwise, easy to install. Using with WestinghouseTurbo Swirl 30 in. Brushed Aluminum Ceiling Fan.

Good remote, was very easy to install and works great. The only reason i don't give it five stars is because of the dimmer. When you want full brightness in the room it's hard to determine that setting on the remote. you have to play with it a couple of times to get it there.

What I found interesting was it fit into a pocket on my Hunter Fan like it was made just for it even thou it was made by GE

I have a ceiling fan in my master bedroom. The fan worked but the remote to run the fan would not. I purchased this remote and it works very well and it was easy to install. this remote works well.

I was surprised when I saw the package was a whole instillation kit. I was expecting just the remote. The service desk showed me how to make the remote work with the fan I already had at home. Their instructions were clear and the remote works perfectly.

This seems to be an exact replacement for the Emerson SR100, which Emerson has discontinued. We had the light remote button go bad and the new remote worked with the old Emerson receiver right out of the package (after the code was set in the remote). The button went bad after seven years of constant kid use. So go gentle on the buttons and it should be good for much longer. We have three other SR100's and they work fine.

As soon as the battery was installed it instantly worked with our ceiling fan without having to adjust any wires etc in the fan itself. We have an Emerson fan, we are extremely satisfied with this product!
