Didn’t even make it past the second hole twenty five dollars out the window

Drills fast when new from the packaging. It guarantees several holes drilled before it gets dull. I don't what material they used to test to come up with that guarantee. I am going to throw away my old ones which I know for sure I used for drilling less than 10 holes. For this bit I only drilled two holes so far. Let's see if this one comes close to the number of holes this drill bit can make as stated in the packaging.

Bought this bit to use with the grab bar anchors... Very first hole into a ceramic tile, the bit disintegrated. It was junk.

Perfect tool for the job

This bit seems well made and probably works on some materials, but it did not work on marble tile. I needed to buy a different drill bit.

The WingIts anchor system requires a 3/4in hole but this bit could not cut it without serious help of other bits. I had to get a set of tile and stone bits to work up to a 1/2in hole before I could spend equally as long trying to bore up from 1/2in to 3/4in with this bit. Overall I ended up with extra trips to the store to get a set of a different bit from Milwaukee Tool the first trip and then back again for the 1/2in bit before this one could do its job ever so painfully. The only reason I did not give 1 star is because ultimately it did create the 3/4in hole after I got it up to 1/2in with other bits.

A bit much for drywall.

Win One wrong on bit broke before 1st hole was even half way through the tile.

Worked amazingly well -MUCH better than a masonry bit. Cut cleanly and quickly and easy to keep on point. Well worth the cost if using WingIt anchors. The WingIt anchors are a different story (make certain you use the templet for the anchors and not drill where the grab bar templet shows -but still keeping them in line). This is THE BEST drill bit I have ever used on ceramic tile!

Drill through ceramic tile like butter.

The bit broke when I used it.

These worked well installing grab handles in a shower. Bought the anchor kit too. Happy with the results but sis need a pilot hole in the tile or this bit would walk. Overall please with the products but cost was high overall.

Had to drill 4 holes. Took almost an hour per hole drilling through ceramic tile. Thought I tempered the bit so bought another one only to have the same results. It advertises it can drill through ceramic in seconds. Not true. I was drilling at low speed. Very disappointed

Would not buy again. This system did not work well for me. It did not drill straight in without sliding enough to throw the holes out of perfect alignment. To put in a grab bar you have to have all four holes perfectly aligned and put it through all four of the grab bar plate holes at the same time. If you remove the screw you lose the part that goes inside the wall. After losing a set and a half I went back to the store and talking to he plumbing "expert" I realized I might as well asked my wife. I bought toggle bolts for the second set of holes.

Very good for drilling tile.

The tool worked as hoped. I was able to install all seven of the shower grab bars in our bathrooms. Excellent product.

Game Changer! The Wingit apache drill bit is a MUST HAVE if using the Wingit Grab Bar Fasteners! It made the installation super fast and easy.

Save yourself the headache and buy a regular tile bit from Milwaukee/Dewalt/Bosch. This thing is awful and left an ugly hole. We returned it and bought the equivalent from Milwaukee and it worked like a dream. Also, their WingIts anchors are a Nightmare! Just get yourself a regular pull toggle anchor and you'll save money and hassle.
