May be good for painting but not so much for staining. My old tattered bristle+polyester brush did a much better job of both picking up and applying stain to fencing. It did not meet my expectation.

Terrible and cheap
These brushes are comparable to the brushes you get at the dollar store. The bristles are sparse and thin so can't hold much paint - have to constantly reload the brush with paint. And the bristles would split and feather out when trying to cut an edge leaving stray strands of paint. The handle is cheap plastic. Terrible brushes!

I normally really like Wooster brushes, but this one's bristles...
I normally really like Wooster brushes, but this one's bristles would not splay so that I could cut in around the baseboards. I don't know if the bristles were too hard or if they were cut at a different angle, but I was not really impressed here.

Terrible brush
This brush is light and that's all that's good about it. It is too thick to get to the very edge or corner of the wall making it very difficult to paint precisely or to cut. It gets worse when trying to wash the paint off the brush. For some reason, the paint clings on to the bristles and won't wash completely off, which causes clumping and hardening at the ends of the brush. Do not purchase this brush. Invest in a better brush!

We hate to hear you didn't have a great experience with the Factory Sale Synthetic brush. This flat style brush is thicker than some. We do offer a thin angle and angle sash style brushes that many find helpful with cutting-in. One of our most popular brushes is the Wooster Shortcut. It also offers a comfortable short flexible handle (see internet number 100357411). We realize cleaning of today's fast-drying coatings can be difficult. This brush is too thick at the tip to paint fine detail areas. It’s a good brush for painting larger areas.

These Wooster brushes are excellent - I know most experts...
These Wooster brushes are excellent - I know most experts say to use natural bristle brushes for oil-based paints, but we used these brushes for both latex AND oil-based paint (cleaned carefully between), and they did a great job on both varieties of paint. They still look great. They aren't the top-quality Wooster brushes, but they are good, and are worth buying when NOT on sale. On sale, it's a no-brainer - BUY THEM!

For the price, these are good. I wouldn't use them...
For the price, these are good. I wouldn't use them to apply finish coats, but for spot priming, which is why I got them, they're fine.
