Excellent for exterior painting.

I am submitting my review of the Wooster PRO 9" x 3/8" smooth to Semi- smooth surfaces paint roller cover . I used the paint roller to paint the interior of my home. The walls and ceilings are of a textured surface. The roller performed well. I did not experience any paint splatter or dripping, coverage was excellent. The roller cleaned up easily with just a garden hose. The quality of this product is exceptional and well worth the price if you want quality results.

This Wooster Pro Surpass Roller is great for all kinds of paints (satin, stains, eggshell and flat, etc.). It can be used on smooth to semi-smooth surfaces. This is the only brand of paint rollers that I use, have been using it for years due to its excellent quality. I have used it on concrete, drywall and wood and always works great. It has great capacity with flat or any other paints. It also provides great coverage. I highly recommend this Wooster Pro Surpass Roller.

Good quality product.

I’m an amateur here and don’t know how to rate. We’re doing our drywall and we used this with a primer. Rolled smoothly. We did need to go slow or the primer would splatter. The primer is pretty thin. I’ve included photos of the primer on the wall and the roller in use I didn’t clean but my wife said they were very easy to clean. Not all rollers are. So, I give it kudos for that. The rest... I tried to take photos so you could judge for yourself if it would meet your needs.

If you want an efficient /quality paint job, then this roller is for you. We painted a couple of rooms in the house and the roller worked wonders. Other rollers are so bad that you constantly have to be picking stuff off of the wall because of the shedding. or they just start falling apart Paint goes on smooth and I felt this roller was durable and meant for "heavy duty" work. Also love that it's made in the USA.

I love this brand of paint supplies. They work very well and did not shed. I would highly recommend to anybody for any project. Very good brand

Bought a 3-pack to paint the concrete patio shown in the picture. The 1st roller was used to apply the concrete pre-paint primer, the 2nd roller was used to apply the 1st coat of exterior paint, the 3rd roller was used to apply the 2nd coat of exterior paint with the clear anti-skid additive mixed in the paint. Even though we were using on a rough surface, we did not have any problems with any of the 3 rollers shedding. All applied the products evenly.

Yes would recommend good nap for the job painting shed.

This roller says shed-resistant. Than is not true there is lints all over my walls.

Great one coat roller

Rolling a coarse and grooved exterior surface this roller carried and delivered paint in an efficient fashion. although the extra weight of paint made the roller heavier than usual it was worth the coverage delivered.

I love these rollers. You may spend a little more but well worth the coverage you can apply.

Rollem!!! These are very good rollers. Fits the standard roller. Rolls smooth, than when I am done, I either wash it or put it in a gallon zip lock bag to use again.

I would recommend Wooster Pro High Density Fabric Roller Cover. I have used these in the past and they work great for any paint job around the house. Shed resistant is great, so that you do not get all those tiny fibers in your paint. Works great for Semi Rough surfaces, I used this on my wall in the kitchen and it applied the paint evenly with no problem.

The Wooster Pro 9 in.x 1-1/4 in. Surpass shed-resistant knit high-density fabric roller cover is a very good roller cover. I have been doing a lot of painting in the house . The 1-1/4 in. nap worked great on my textured ceilings. I love the smooth finish I got with this roller cover. I did notice less matting and dripping with this roller cover. I am very happy with these Wooster Pro roller covers.

Nice 3 pk of good quality 1/2” standard covers that you'd typically use to paint interior walls & ceilings. Got these ahead of time so I'd be ready when the urge strikes. Hoping they live up to some of the other reviews. The inside tubing is plastic. From my “earlier” days as a painter, I know to wet a new roller down good, & milk/ twist the surface down from top to bottom to eliminate loose fuzz before first use...only got a few tiny strands when I did one of these. That's usually a good sign. More later.

Worked Well for my needs. Great Product: Quick Review: Views from an active DIYer The knit roller worked well, I was bale to get my project painted quickly. Served its purpose More In depth review: I used this roller on a 3/4" plywood that I sanded down. I normally do not use rollers when I paint, I use my airless sprayer, but for small projects the sprayer is not that handy to me due to the amount of time required to clean up, so I got rollers for small projects. This worked well, I was able to cover large areas. Maybe it is just user error but I did notice some spotty areas. I will take the blame for this . I normally wash the rollers when I do use them but since it was cold out I did not bother with it due to the water freezing, so I cannot attest to how well it works during cleanup. The roller did not shed and so all in all I was pleased

Never really knew that there was such a large fluffy paint roller knit cover. The main use for a roller cover like this is to be able to paint surfaces with grooves in it. Good for painting textured walls or surfaces such like stucco or stones. Hold a decent amount of paint. Doesn't leave streaks if use correctly. Cleaning isn’t as easy as your standard roller cause of the amount of paint it holds. I usually rinse it out the best i can and then wrap it in a grocery plastic bag and shove in the freezer.

This set of three “Wooster Pro Surpass” shed-resistant paint roller covers for rough surfaces is a good value and it will be long-lasting thanks to the use of very good material. This is just the roller cover to use for any painting project which has a textured surface (see pictures). I used it on both heavily textured plaster wall and ceilings (see pictures) with great results without having to roll over the same area multiple times (see pictures). I used it for using both eggshell (wall) and flat (ceiling) paints. I had no shedding from the material on the roller because it states the material is knitted in place and it really works. Each roller cover cleans up well for re-use so be sure to save the plastic sleeve that it is sold with the set because once the roller cover is fully dry from washing, you can just store it in that plastic sleeve to keep the roller covers clean. They even made the plastic sleeve for the three roller covers re-sealable (see picture). They cleaned up easily with some dishwashing soap and water when I used latex paint. Also contributing to the re-use of this roller cover is the fact that the interior is a plastic tube (see picture), not cardboard which would deteriorate when wet. Also, considering this is a three-pack, you can still paint with one of the other two rollers while the first roller is drying after washing. This is a high-quality roller cover set! I highly recommend this paint roller cover for textured surfaces!

Spreads paint like butter on warm toast. Doesn't shed, doesn't quit can paint a whole house full of ceilings with a single cover. Get this one in Wooster Sherlock 14" roller, and you will cut your painting time in half plus it will look 10x better than with a 9" These roller covered worked very well on smooth and textured walls. It does have enough nap for rough and textured surfaces. Took several runs at the walls being painted, a minus, but the results were very good. Not much splatter common with rolling paint - so this was one of the covers pluses. Overall I was pleased using these to paint our home.

I wanted to paint my house that has stucco on it. This roller cover holds a lot of paint and can be used on rough surfaces. I did not want to climb up on a ladder so I used a wooster 8-16 extension pole which has has a hexagon connection with a locking mechanism which keeps the roller from moving and can not unscrew. This is a premium roller cover and works extremely well when used with wooster extensions and handles.

I received my Wooster Pro Surpass extra rough surface knit roller cover today. I have used these Wooster rough surface rollers before with impressive results using semi-gloss paint on rough wood exterior surfaces. I do know they are mainly for flat, eggshell, satin paints and stains but because of my past results and the high quality knit surface roller I like to use them with semi-gloss paint on exterior wood that has a rough surface.

Good paint rollers decent price too
