Easy to assemble. Works great. It is the smallest so it does take longer.

We bought this to compact our shop floor before it was poured. Worked great and was a cheaper option than a rental for time we needed it.

Love it. Works as l new it would.

Had 3 screws vibrate and back out in first 10mins of use. Seems to be working fine after I tightened with loctite but still under an hour of use. Don’t have much confidence in it holding up for long.

The product is just what I ordered. the 1850 PSI was too small, and the 3500 PSI was too big and heavy. I strong person could easily pick this up and place on pick up with ease and no risk to injury. . The wheels have really made life easier in mobilizing. I highly recommend tru fuel in these machines whereas the ethanol in todays pump gas is nothing but trouble (unless you use this daily). the price was perfect too. (Take caution when ordering the finish rubber pad). lots of choices and the one I purchased was too big and the correct one was out of stock. I was able to manipulate the pad and bracket to work but, in a desperate time, you may not have this option.

The first time it was shipped there was no unit in the box, just the handle and oil. The 2nd time it was missing hardware to be able to fully put the unit together. After a trip to the local store the unit is up and running.

I am very satisfied. It’s not too heavy and it’s strong enough to do the job. I’m a landscaping contractor and I was tired of renting. It worked great for compacting DG for synthetic turf, walkways and patios. I’m glad I bought it.

Excellent machine, very well built. Was missing a bolt but no big deal. Started on the 3rd pull. Has roughly 11 tanks of gas run through it and works great.

Would have been excellent.but the muffler guard fell off already.and i just got it

This machine is definitely a must buy if you’re planning to do more than one projects around the house. It’s light weight and easy to operate. Need to read instructions before using the compactor for the first time though. The only complaint I have it’s the foaming (vibration reduction) around the handle tears easily after a day of use. Other than that, I like it.

Does the job nicely. Wheels make it easy to move around. Starts easy.

Haven't had a chance to use it yet.However there were no instructions on how to assemble or any hardware to assemble it with.Luckily I had the 4 bolts and nut to put it together after I figured it out and cleaned all the oil out of the vibratory plate at first thought it was the supplied motor oil but this oil was a different weight and color.There were no holes or tears in the box for the hardware to fall through and no oil in or on the box for it to come from a outside source.

Very easy to set up. Perfect for the homeowner who does a lot of DIY projects.

It works great for the money. I used it to make a brick walkway and for some ground work also. In the Ground work I had to do it in layers however it work awesome

I have used this product multiple times now on small jobs in my back yard and overall it has exceeded my expectations. For the low price point, I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality and materials of the Yardmax plate compactor. All the pieces were well marked and assembly was very easy. The engine runs smooth and starts easy. So far I have used it mainly for compaction of paver base for walkways and a small paver patio. I am going to install a paver firepit and future paver outdoor kitchen area off my patio. My neighbors have already asked to borrow it after seeing my completed projects. As far as operation, I liked that it was very maneuverable in tight spaces. Overall, the quality of compaction was really good for a machine this size. I highly recommend if you have small to medium size projects you consider this as a great value.

I have needed a plate compactor for years. Finally bought one and love it. It runs great And I use it all the time.

Hardware missing. Looked used but supposed to be new. Oil on the machine.

Unit was delivered on time (actually a week ahead of estimated delivery time). Price was awesome. Has worked great on my paver patio project so far. Starts easily with 1 or 2 pulls. Does a great job tamping crushed stone in 3 to 4 inch lifts, and is small enough to get in the tight spots. The attached wheel kit make it easy to move around. Overall I am very satisfied with this machine.

Good quality product but realized that compactor is intended for level surfaces as stalling occurs when compactor is on an angle with carb on the uphill side.

Figured I'd give it a shot but being inexpensive was wrong. Put 2" a paver base down for a retaining wall used it back forth back forth several times and then took a hand tamper and could pack it down at least another inch more after the plate compact so what good is it. I can do it by hand and tamp it to what it probly is closer to should be then using the yard Max which doesn't pack down hard enough at all. A failure waiting to happen.

Great tool! Just what I needed for my job of compacting crusher run gravel over grade 57 rocks around my shop.
