You kidding?
Aged bourbon replaced wallnut...not even close to walnut...looks like coffee with lots of cream....and little pigment...cant use....

I’ve been using Zar stain for over 30 years. I’ve never had a problem with spreading or moving stain on projects. If done the right way the finish and look are amazing.

Hoals Color
Home depot had Zar rename a chocolate color to Bourbon to sell better. It's a hoals color.

Dwight - Sorry to see you were disappointed with the color. Perhaps there is some confusion. 115 Aged Bourbon was formerly Modern Walnut. 123 Dark Chocolate Truffle was formerly called Moorish Teak. ZAR Blue Moon is AMAZING!
I was in the middle of a large project when Varathane discontinued Worn Navy. I stumbled upon ZAR Blue Moon, which i like even better. I have used it on the outside shiplap walls of my new closet, as well as some trim/moulding pieces. I am thrilled with the results. Next I will be using this to stain the new crown moulding in my bedroom. Excellent product and unique color. ZAR is the only brand of stain i will be buying from now on. I look forward to trying Vintage Modern next to match the mid century floors and moulding in my living room. It looks like it will be an exact match.
