This is pressed paper with a very thin paper wrap. It worked for me because I really didnt need the center divider. Easy to cut with razor knife.

The oak trim matches good with the laminated floor but if you have to shorten up the track in a remodeling job, you have to buy a new one, the old one will be destroyed when you try to remove it.

We had to replace a T-molding. This piece wasn’t the same color as the piece we had to replace but it was close enough and completed the job.

Average material and pretty expensive at 22.99. Also, seemed smaller in length than other times that I have purchased t molding from home depot

Needed to replace existing threshold on laminate flooring that was at least 10 years old. Holding existing threshold and products available at HD side by side this was the closest match overall. Once home and viewed in my rooms natural lighting conditions it turned out to be an almost perfect match. Store lighting and plastic packaging make product appear a bit lighter. Instructions on packaging are pretty basic and a little confusing....seemed to indicate that the product could be 'snapped' to size. Didn't want to experiment with my purchase so opted to cut the metal track with a hack saw and the threshold insert using my plastic miter box and hand saw.Hardest part for me was getting exact placement needed to cover existing conditions. Solved this by cutting 1/2" wide pieces of threshold, placing them at each end of the track and using this as a guide to center punch track hole locations for perfect placement of the track and threshold.

Cheap. Not made out of wood but some type of composite. Does not handle moisture, dampness or moderate traffic
