Who's ready to learn how to create this quick summer wreath?! The first thing I did was lay mytobacco basketon top of the
plywoodand trace it out. I did this since
tobacco baskets
can be irregularly shaped, and I wanted to ensure I had the perfect fit.

After I traced out my semi-circle, I then took the
plywood
outside and cut it out using myjig saw.

Next, I started to add a
stencilto my semi-circle. You can do whatever you like: stain,
paintor add anything else to the front, have fun!

To add the
plywoodto the front, I attached it using my
wood glue
and let it dry.

After I attached the
plywood, I took some
sisal rope
and added that to the front. I used myglue gunto hide the edges of the wood.

Then, I attached a plastic bag to the inside of the wreath to hold the
soil
that I will be adding to house my plants.

The next thing I did was add the
soil. You can poke tiny holes in the bag so water can drain out when watering your plants.

Now comes the fun part! I began to add my plants to my wreath. You can add plants, flowers or succulents. You can also add different elements to your wreath including, ribbons, bows, beads or even a sign!

That’s it! I love how simple this wreath turned out. It has just the right amount of character, and is perfect for summertime. Good luck!
