How can I prepare my home for summer temperatures?
Be confident your home is equipped for relentless summer heat by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If moisture gets in the cracks, you could be dealing with damage. On your home's exterior, inspect shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that can let water in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition.
Do you have moving boxes?
Make storage or moving easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.
Do I need a generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or hurricanes, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When searching for generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
Why should I get a doorbell camera?
Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
