Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What Father's Day Deals does The Home Depot have in 2026?

Shop now for Father's Day gifts that Dad will love. The Home Depot Father's Day Sale runs June 4th to June 24th online or in-store, and you can save on outdoor power equipment, smart home gifts, grills, tools, and more. We've got Father's Day deals on everything you'll need to make his day.

What do I do to prepare my home for scorching summer temps?

Be certain your home is equipped for relentless summer heat by repairing or replacing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. If moisture gets inside the cracks, you might be dealing with damage. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On your house's exterior, examine shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that can let water leak in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

Do you carry large moving boxes?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, hurricanes, severe thunderstorms, or blizzards, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

What benefits do doorbell cameras have?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project at The Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on 7/4/26. Introduce your children to the joys of building with this cool pint-sized go-kart. Building this tiny go-kart is a great way to hone creativity, listening abilities, and fine motor skills. Team up with your little ones to make this fun craft while supplies last. Remember to enjoy the fruits of your labor and leave some time to play with others!
