How can I prep my home for flip-flopping spring temps?
Make certain your home is set for wild temperature swings by replacing or repairing faulty components of your hardscaping. On the exterior of your home, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that can let water leak inside. Keep gutters fully functional to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If moisture gets inside the cracks, you might be dealing with damage.
Do you have moving boxes?
Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with hurricanes, tornados, blizzards, severe thunderstorms, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
