Can I get Express Delivery through my store?
Express Delivery is a same-day service that delivers job site supplies and products from your store to your front door. Orders must be placed by 4 p.m. local time to ensure delivery. Eligibility depends on local stock, item size, and driver availability. Set your local store online or in The Home Depot app to check availability. Qualifying items will show an Express Delivery tag both in your shopping cart and at checkout (excludes custom mixed paint, aerosols, and bulk orders). Additional delivery charges may apply for Express Delivery orders.
How can I prep my home for scorching summer temps?
Be confident your home is set for summer heat by repairing faulty components of your hardscaping. If water gets inside the crevices, you might be in for a headache. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. On the outside of your house, inspect shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that can let water leak in. Keep gutters clear of debris to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.
Do you carry large moving boxes?
Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Is it good to have a generator at home?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, keep in mind that inverter generators are more expensive than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole or window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.
