Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have a storage sale in 2026?

The Home Depot Storage Sale is here, so it's time to get shopping. From garage shelving to garage bundles, we've got deals on what you need for a neatly arranged garage. Shop the sales in-store or online from June 22nd through August 18th, 2026, and make this the summer you clean out the basement and the garage.

Will a homework spot at home help my kids?

Ready your kids for success, whether they're being homeschooled or doing homework, with their own learning space. Help them stay focused with a writing desk and a desk lamp they love. Personalize it with desk organizers in their favorite design and colors. Don't forget the pencils and pens! You'll find many helpful back-to-school supplies at your Napa Home Depot.

How can I prepare my home for summer?

Be confident your home is set for relentless summer weather by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If moisture gets in the crevices, you might be looking at trouble. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. On the outside of your home, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that could let water come in. Keep gutters fully functional to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

Do you have specialty moving boxes?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

When is the next free Kids Workshop?

Head to our Kids Workshop on 9/5/2026, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a school bus organizer! Your little builder can assemble their very own organizer for small toys and art supplies.

      Home Dept help
We have worked on quite a few projects through Home Depot. When a job isn't done correctly Home Depot will go after the contractor to do the job right. Nobody wants to lose the Home Depot contract. They even helped on my extended warranty on my washer with Allstate insurance. With contractors on you own good luck. It's the safe option.

          Credit Card Readers
Fix the credit card readers. You know they are outdated and need to be replaced, not refurbished.

Always check receipts & delivery orders
Wife & I ordered $700 of garden plants & bags of top soil & paid an $80 delivery fee (while a Napa Nursery iis charging us $25 for a similar order -ie: HD is excessive for delivery fees). Anyway we ordered 40 bags of topsoil which comes on a platic wrapped pallet - so can’t count at time of delivery. After unwrapping pallets we got 33 bags or 7 shorted. Required a 20 min drive back to HD & myself loading up the 7 bags into my car. I think HD should have credited me part of the $80 delivery fee.

Helpful staff at NAPA Home Depot
3/6/26...We just moved to Napa, CA 3 weeks ago. I've been to this Napa Home Depot twice and find the crew pleasant and willing to assist. Cheers.

                  Napa Home Depot Store
My only issue with the store is finding help on the floor. But when I do, the person is usually very helpful and helps me find what I need.

                    The WD Nightmare
We purchased a new WD Set. We waited Four hours for delivery and watched the app tell us we were number 9 in delivery to number three. 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. But now it’s gets really fun. At 6:20 pm the app now says you have missed your delivery. We call the help line and they tell us I’m sorry we can communicate with the drivers and to call back tomorrow am at 8:00. We call the next morning to get our new delivery time but wait I’m sorry again you now won’t get your WD the next day you now fall into the end of the line and have to wait a additional 7 days for delivery. We now get to go to laundry mat every three days because we got rid of our old machines as instructed. We have two more days until Santa hopefully arrives early with our WD. This is some of the worst customer experiences I have ever had with a company.
