Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When are Spring Black Friday deals at The Home Depot?

The Home Depot Spring Black Friday Sale is better than ever. Save big on lawn and garden and outdoor power equipment, including lawn mowers, soil, and mulch, then update your grill or patio furniture so you're ready to enjoy the season. You can also get a jump on spring cleaning with storage and DIY projects by taking advantage of low prices on tools. Don't forget to embrace energy-efficient living with new appliances, too. This spring sale runs from April 9th through 22nd, so remember to shop before it ends.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temperatures?

Be confident your home is set for springtime temperature changes by replacing or repairing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. On your home's exterior, examine shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that can let water seep in. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to winter weather. Also, check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If moisture freezes inside the cracks, you might be in for a headache.

Do you carry moving boxes?

Make your move easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Enjoy power in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole or window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
