Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's part of The Home Depot Garage Storage Sale?

Explore our Garage Storage Savings and finally organize the garage or shed. Save up to 20% off select storage solutions and up to 15% off select garage tool storage solutions from your favorite brands. Keep tools and treasures out of sight with sturdy garage cabinets and other storage and organization options. Use storage bins to group your belongings, then stack them on new garage shelving systems. Catch these bargains online and in-store from June 22–August 18.

What home repairs should I make before summer storms hit?

Be certain your home is ready for summertime temperatures by replacing or repairing faulty components of your hardscaping. If water gets inside the crevices, you might be looking at trouble. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. On your home's exterior, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that may let water leak in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent excess water from backing up into your home. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

What varieties of moving boxes do you offer?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Enjoy power in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Do you have doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole or window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
