Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a sale on storage containers?

The Home Depot Storage Sale is here, so it's time to get shopping. From garage shelving to tool chests, we've got deals on everything you need for a neatly arranged garage. Shop the sales from June 22nd to August 18th, and make this the summer you clean out the basement and the garage.

Does the Batesville Home Depot have back-to-school products for classrooms?

When you've gotten your classroom decor at the teacher store and just need the basics, come see us. From maintenance like disinfecting wipes and office supplies to the fun stuff for art projects, we've got it. Writing utensils and Command hooks? Check. Glue guns and hot glue sticks to match? We have those, too. Find storage containers to keep it all organized, cleaning supplies, and more tissues and paper towels than you think you'll need. We support educators, so stop by to get any last-minute school supplies.

How can I prepare my home for summer?

Make certain your home is equipped for relentless summer heat by repairing faulty components of your home. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If water gets inside the crevices, you could be dealing with damage. On your home's exterior, inspect roof shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that might let water leak inside. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

Do you have specialty moving boxes?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop from 9–noon on August 1, 2026. Sign up for free to build a tiny rocket game. We provide the materials and you bring the creativity. Team up with your kids to make this quick craft while supplies last. Remember to leave some time to race your rocket into space with others!

Great in store people. Terrible delivery process.
Everyone at the store was very friendly and helpful. The Batesville store didn't have one of the doors that we wanted so we upgraded to and purchased a different door. So, everything was in stock and we were happy. We placed our order (4 exterior doors and 2 expansion kits), paid for delivery (signature required), and everything was set to be delivered on Tuesday 11/18/25. Now the circus begins. I live about an hour away from the delivery location. I called the Batesville store to see if the order might deliver in the AM or PM only to find out that order shipped from the Conway store (about 2 hours away from me) and that it would be delivered sometime between 6:00am and 8:00pm. That really narrows down the window. (Just as a reference, the build site is 47 miles from the Batesville store and 43 miles from the Conway store) Everyone at the Batesville store knew that the delivery location is a new build. Since I couldn’t narrow down the delivery time, I asked one of the contractors on site to sign for the delivery. Oh, by the way, I was supposed to receive a call before delivery. I received the call when the truck reached the property sometime around 11:30. I could tell from the security camera that the doors were on a couple of makeshift pallets just sitting on the ground, out in the weather, where anyone could take them with the carport only three feet away. I called the contractor who signed the ticket, an older gentleman doing some backhoe work. He said that the delivery was made by a single guy using a tommy-lift and a warehouse pallet jack. The first pallet (with broken straps) contained one door weighting about 100 pounds and the other pallet contained two double-doors each weighing about 250 pounds. I had to drive to the build site that evening and round up a couple of guys to move the doors. If you’ve been keeping up with the math that is only three out of four doors delivered. Remember from the start of this ordeal that the Batesville store had all the inventory on hand. Now the phone calls start. I call the 800 number and ask about the fourth door. Apparently, the door was out of stock when the truck was loaded (yeah, right) however I was welcome to drive for two hours in my midsize SUV to the Conway store (where the order just shipped from) and pick it up. I was welcome to pickup the door that was out of stock but I would need to call the store and confirm. I didn’t call the call the Conway store, I called the Batesville store and inquired about what happened. After three phone calls and a discussion with a manager it was determine that the door was still in the Batesville inventory and would be loaded onto the delivery truck from the Batesville store as soon as the Conway store released it from their order, that was never delivered. I received an email Wednesday morning stating that the door was out for delivery. I didn’t know that the door would be delivered Wednesday morning so I had no one set up to sign the ticket. This is the email: Your order is out for delivery today. Your items are out for delivery today by our delivery agent. They’ll deliver your order between 6 am and 8 pm. Where will my order be delivered? Your order will be brought across the first doorway in your home (e.g. entryway, garage, or first room of your home. An adult must be present at the time of the delivery. Your driver will call 30 minutes prior to delivery. I call the Batesville store to give them permission to leave the door without a signature. Are you ready for this? It shipped out of the Cabot store, 50 miles away from the build site. I had to call the Cabot store. By the way, I never received a call prior to delivery and the door was left in exactly the same condition as the other doors. That evening my wife and I made another trip to the build site and we managed to move the door under the carport. I’m seventy years and I don’t ever remember a more screwed up mess. Good store with good people at the return / pick up desk.
I recently went to pick up six HVAC filters that were ordered from the Homedepot website that were not in stock at this store. When I picked them up they were smashed - the lady at the front desk refunded my Homedepot credit card - this was not the fault of Homedepot- it was the shippers fault! The lady at the desk was polite and good at her job !

Friendly staff, well stocked, easy checkout experience. I’ve been to many Home Depot’s all over the country. This is one of the better ones in terms of help and having what I needed.

            Nothing in stock
I had no choice but to go to Home Depot for a washing machine. Online it says they were available in store but when I get there, I’m told there’s none in the store and I had to order one. I was also forced to pay for a delivery fee, which is totally ridiculous because I was there to pick it up in the first place and you’re the one making me buy one because you don’t keep things in stock. I would not recommend going here if you need something quick cause they will not have it.

              Major disappointment
I went to front desk for help in getting oil n filter for my mower I purchased from Home Depot last year. The man who helped me had no clue what I needed, even after her looked it up on computer. The filter and oil were both wrong
