Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's on sale for Father's Day?

The Home Depot Father's Day Sale is coming up, so start shopping now for Father's Day gifts that your dad will love. From traditional gifts like grills, outdoor power equipment, and tools, to practical gifts like generators, ladders, and garage storage, we've got Father's Day deals on all the presents he's been waiting for. Shop the sales in-store or online from June 4–24, and make Dad proud of the bargains you found.

What home repairs should I make before summer storms hit?

Make certain your home is set for relentless summer heat by replacing faulty parts of your home. If moisture gets inside the cracks, you might be in for a headache. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. On your home's exterior, examine metal roofing or shingles for damage or rust that may let water leak in. Keep gutters functional and clear to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

What types of moving boxes do you have?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project at the July Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Building this small wooden toy with wheels is a great way to sharpen creativity, listening abilities, and fine motor skills.
