Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What Memorial Day Deals does The Home Depot have in 2026?

The bargains you've been waiting for are here from May 14th through 27th! Shop huge Memorial Day Deals to upgrade every part of your house. We've got savings on tools, refrigerators, outdoor power equipment, and storage and organization, to name a few categories — but there's more! You’ll find unbelievable savings, including up to 40% off select appliances and select online bath items. You can shop the deals at our Memorial Day Sale on The Home Depot mobile app or in person at our store.

How can I prep my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Be confident your home is set for springtime temperature changes by replacing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. If moisture gets inside the crevices, you could be dealing with mold. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. On the exterior of your home, inspect metal roofs or shingles for damage or rust that may let water come in. Keep gutters functional and clear to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

What's your selection of moving boxes like?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Restore power in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise while they create less power. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop?

Head to our Kids Workshop from 9 a.m. to noon on 6/6/26. Sign up for free to build a tiny soccer game. We provide the materials and you provide the creativity. Team up with your kids to make this fun craft while supplies last. Remember to leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
