Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When is The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale?

The bargains you've been waiting for are here from May 14–27! Shop huge Memorial Day Deals to upgrade every part of your house. We've got savings on outdoor power equipment, tools, refrigerators, and storage and organization, to name a few categories — but there's more! You’ll find unbelievable savings, including up to 40% off select appliances and select online bath items. Find deals at our Memorial Day Sale in person at our store or on The Home Depot mobile app.

What home repairs should I make before spring storms hit?

Be confident your home is ready for spring temperature changes by repairing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If moisture gets in the crevices, you might be looking at trouble. On the outside of your home, inspect roof shingles or metal roofs for damage that could let water come in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

Do you carry wardrobe moving boxes?

Make your move easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through an adjacent window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

When is the Home Depot Kids Workshop in June?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople! Introduce your children to the joys of building with this goalie game. Constructing a kid-sized tabletop soccer game is a great way to exercise listening abilities, creativity, and fine motor skills. This fun kids' project is happening on 6/6/2026, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
