This store stays pretty busy, but the amount of employees is very helpful. Usually don't have to wait very long for help.
This is the best home-improvement store (in fact, the best big-box of any kind) I have ever experienced. Employees are knowledgable and genuinely trying to help. Customer service when some issue comes up has never disappointed me. And the way they handle online orders to be picked up in the store makes me wish every store did it even half as well.
The store was clean, everything was very easy to find. The associate Mariana in the paint section was very helpful. She explained to me everything that I needed! I totally recommend this store!
I appreciate the concern of the store employees to make the visit as safe as possible, considering the situation of the virus in the world today. They limited access to a safe level and maintained recommended distances between personnel. Kudos to their diligence during my visit.
I love this store! It is one of the largest (if not the largest) in the SLC area, and usually has what I need. The location is centralized and can be quickly reached from many directions. The staff are usually very helpful, and the huge signs help too ;) Last visit was a little strange. Because of the Corona Virus, there were no disinfecting wipes available at all. One of the employees (Linden) came to me as I was looking at the "Tub O Towels" product, which is a heavy cleaner to remove tough stains and residue from things like tar, oil, paint, etc from your projects and your hands. While it does clean tough things, I found it does not have any disinfecting properties (with my man-cave knowledge). She was very helpful in researching the ingredients from her store computer, and suggesting alternative solutions. Because of Linden, I'll be back! There are some downsides, though. There are some employees that do not pay attention to anything but themselves. I was pleased to hear them speak in another language with each other, but their conversations took precedence over customer service. They paid more attention to themselves and not enough on the customers or things that needed attention around them. I had trouble with the chip reader at the first self-checkout stand, and eventually one of them came over and said "oh yeah, you have to try three times, then slide the card", and then returned to the previously mentioned conversation.
I always enjoy going to this Home Depot. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, they are always patient with my questions and I feel like they really care! Today Cindy and Linden were awesome at the paint center after their male associate (I didn’t catch his name!) was so nice and helpful with all of my preliminary questions about their paints. Thank you so much for your great service!
