Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have good deals for Father's Day?

This June, find Father's Day gifts that fit his interests. Explore the savings online and in-store at our big Father’s Day Sale, and get great deals on practical gifts like patio furniture and tool storage to generators and riding mowers. We've also got up to 40% off Milwaukee tools. These bargains run from June 4th through 24th only, so don't miss them.

How can I prepare my home for summer?

Be confident your home is set for relentless summer heat by replacing or repairing faulty components of your hardscaping. If moisture gets in the crevices, you might be in for a headache. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On your home's exterior, inspect roof shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that could let water come in. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

Do you carry wardrobe moving boxes?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or tornados, a portable generator lets you enjoy power after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, remember that inverter generators are pricier than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a nearby window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What's the project at the Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Stop by for the Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on July 4th. Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this cool pint-sized go-kart toy. Building this tiny go-kart is a great way to hone fine motor skills, listening abilities, and creativity. Team up with your little ones to make this quick craft while supplies last. Don't forget to leave some time to race your new go-kart toy!
