Are there any tool deals at The Home Depot?
Come see us in the Bethesda store from 10/27–2/1 for the best tool deals. In our power tool sale, you'll find savings on saws, hand tools, drills, and even power tool batteries. We have everything you'll want to give as a holiday gift. Complete your current project with bargains you'll only find during our tool savings event.
What should I do before an ice storm?
Make sure you've got drinking water, canned food and can openers, flashlights and batteries, a weather radio, Rx medications, and buckets. Prep plumbing with spigot covers and pipe insulation. Ice melt or rock salt, a snow blower and snow shovel, proper winter gloves, and a toboggan help you handle icy hazards and enjoy the snow.
Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, blizzards, or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through an adjacent window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
