Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a sale on storage bins and shelves?

Home Depot Garage Storage Savings are here, so start shopping now. From tool chests to storage bins, we've got deals on everything you need for a neatly arranged garage. Shop the sales online or in-store from June 22nd through August 18th, and make this the year you organize the garage, basement, and shed.

What's part of The Home Depot 4th of July Sale?

Replace your appliances now and use them for years to come. Shop our 4th of July Appliance Sale for affordable upgrades on refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, and more. If you're all set with appliances, you can also save on lighting, bath, and tools. It's easy to shop The Home Depot 4th of July Sale, which runs from 6/25–7/8, on our mobile app or at your local store.

How can I prep my home for scorching summer temps?

Be confident your home is ready for summertime heat by repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. If moisture gets in the crevices, you might be looking at trouble. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On your house's exterior, examine metal roofs or shingles for rust or damage that could let water come in. Keep gutters functional and clear to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

What's your selection of moving boxes like?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Enjoy power in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

Which project is featured at the free Kids Workshop?

Stop by for the Kids Workshop on July 4th, from 9–noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a wooden go-kart toy! Your little builder can assemble their very own go-kart craft — like the race circuit version but kid-sized. Remember to enjoy the fruits of your labor and leave some time to play with others!
