What home repairs should I make before spring storms hit?
Make certain your home is set for springtime temperature changes by repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. On the exterior of your home, inspect shingles for damage that might let water in. Vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent ice dams if your location is still prone to winter storms. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If water freezes inside the cracks, you could be dealing with damage.
Do you carry moving boxes?
Make storage or moving easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.
Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?
Enjoy power in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.
Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
