What home repairs should I make before spring storms hit?
Make certain your home is ready for wild temperature swings by replacing faulty components of your hardscaping. If water freezes inside the crevices, you might be dealing with damage. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On the exterior of your home, inspect shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that can let water seep in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to winter weather. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.
What's your selection of moving boxes like?
Make moving or storage easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.
Do I need a generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados or severe thunderstorms, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
