What do I do to prepare my home for flip-flopping spring temps?
Make certain your home is ready for springtime weather changes by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On your house's exterior, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for damage that might let water leak inside. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.
Do you have specialty moving boxes?
Make moving or storage easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.
Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?
Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with severe thunderstorms or strong winds, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, don't forget that inverter generators cost more than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors.
Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.
