Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

How long is The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale?

Prepare to save money when you shop The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale. We've got the major purchases you want to save on: patio furniture, grills, outdoor power equipment, appliances, and more. Some categories are up to 20% off, while others have select online items up to 40%! It's easy to shop for bargains from May 14th to May 27th with our mobile app or in person at your local store.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?

Be confident your home is equipped for springtime temperature changes by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If water gets in the cracks, you might be looking at trouble. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On the exterior of your home, examine shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that can let water in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent water overflow from seeping beneath your shingles. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

What varieties of moving boxes do you offer?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Restore power in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

What benefits do doorbell cameras have?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

When is the June Kids Workshop?

Head to our Kids Workshop from 9–noon on June 6th. Sign up for free to build a pint-sized soccer game. You provide the creativity and we provide the materials. Team up with your kids to make this fun craft while supplies last. Remember to leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
