Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have a storage sale in 2026?

Explore our Garage Storage Savings and finally organize the garage or shed. Save up to 20% off select storage solutions and up to 15% off select garage tool storage solutions from your favorite brands. Stow tools out of sight with sturdy garage cabinets and other storage and organization options. Use storage bins to group your belongings, then stack them on new garage shelving systems. Catch these bargains in-store and online from June 22nd to August 18th.

How can I prep my home for scorching summer temps?

Be certain your home is set for summer temps by repairing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. If water gets in the cracks, you could be dealing with damage. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On the outside of your home, inspect metal roofs or roof shingles for damage that may let water in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent water overflow from going beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

What varieties of moving boxes do you offer?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you want, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

What benefits do doorbell cameras have?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

When is the next free Kids Workshop?

Head to our Kids Workshop on August 1, 2026, from 9–noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a wooden rocket game! Your little builder can assemble their very own rocket game craft — like a real rocketship but kid-sized. Don't forget to leave some time to watch your rocket climb the ladder into orbit!
