Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

How long is the Garage Storage Sale?

It's time to save during our Garage Storage Sale. Find great deals on storage bins to group your belongings, then stack them on new garage shelving. Sort your tools in tool chests and keep your tools and treasures hidden from prying eyes with sturdy garage cabinets. Save up to 20% off select storage solutions and up to 15% off select garage tool storage solutions. These bargains run in-store and online from 6/22/26–8/18/26 only, so shop fast.

Is there a sale for Independence Day?

Freshen up your appliances now and use them for years to come. Shop our 4th of July Appliance Sale for affordable upgrades on refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, and more. If you're all set with appliances, you can also save on lighting, bath, and tools. It's easy to shop The Home Depot 4th of July Sale, which runs from June 25th through July 8th, 2026, on our mobile app or at your local store.

What home repairs should I make before summer storms hit?

Be certain your home is equipped for summertime heat by repairing faulty components of your home. On the outside of your house, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for damage that may let water leak inside. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If water gets inside the cracks, you might be dealing with damage.

What kinds of moving boxes do you carry?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Do you carry wireless or wired doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, privacy, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project at The Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Stop by for the Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on Independence Day. Sign up for free to build a tiny toy go-kart. We provide the materials and you provide the creativity. Team up with your kids to make this quick craft while supplies last. The best part is vrooming around your go-kart, so leave some time to explore your own track!
