I was finally able to get help from an associate that was more than happy to assist. Most of them are sub par at best and they tend to run the other way when they see you.! The associate that was finally located who may have just returned from break was very knowledgeable and refreshingly friendly. I ended up buying a 20 in Ryobi 40v lawnmower and a 40v Ryobi chainsaw. The older gentleman that help me out in gardening/garden tools was named Dan. (I think).

Needed gas water heater. I was directed to the aisle in the store. Found what I needed and then asked for an additional item. I found it and made a dual purchase at checkout. Very happy. Service desk was very competent.

We contacted Home Depot as a trusted name in home improvement. Through the Home Depot we believed, purchasing new windows for our whole house would be a straight forward, trusted process. Our windows were replaced with Milgard brand windows and the finished work left a lot to be desired. However we didn’t complain until our large picture window ( 6 feet x 4 feet) that faces the road in front of our house began showing signs of condensation between the sealed window panes. In January of this year, Approximately 16 months after the installation, we contacted Home Depot to report the issue. They were quick to send out a technician who informed us the window would need to be replaced. We assumed it would be taken care of and left them to take care of it. By April, we had not heard anything and again, called to inquire about the window. This began a three month back and forth that is still ongoing. On July 8th, we were informed by the manufacturer that the window had been ordered in June and was ready for pickup. We’ve been assured several times it’s going to be fixed, but as of August 1st, we still don’t have a solid date for the replacement window to be installed!

As a general contractor, we need supplies as quick as possible and as easy as possible. We bought our appliances from Mary. She was very knowledgeable and very helpful. I won’t buy anywhere else. At the pro desk the manager Heather was very helpful and handle all our needs. Without her taking care of us, our jobs would not have been as easy as they were. At the pro desk was amazing great attitude, very eager to help and made sure our checkout experience was something to remember. I recommend Home Depot in Federal Way over any other place you would possibly shop for materials or appliances

Home Depot ask for my drivers license way too many times when I return something with my receipt, so unnecessary and inconvenient, they don’t ask for my id when I make a purchase.

Be VERY careful when ordering high priced and/or custom ordered items. If issues arise, expect a high re-stock fee and lack luster customer support.

I bout smoke detectors & many other things from Home Depot and I have no reason to complain. We get a return or exchange services . The products we bought are high quality.

2 different employees sent me to the wrong isle for romex wire staples.
