It's time for The Home Depot 4th of July Sale. Save big with great deals on bath accessories, tools, patio furniture, and appliances. Check out savings on storage, lighting, air conditioning, and outdoor power equipment, too. Shop these sales from June 25th through July 8th in person at your local store, online, or on our mobile app. Don't miss these Independence Day deals.
What do I do to prepare my home for scorching summer temps?
Be certain your home is equipped for summer temps by replacing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If moisture gets inside the cracks, you could be dealing with damage. On your home's exterior, inspect roof shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that can let water leak inside. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.
Do you have specialty moving boxes?
Make your move easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Remember to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.
Do I need a generator?
Restore electricity in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
Which project is featured at the free Kids Workshop?
Stop by for the Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on Independence Day. Sign up for free to build a tiny toy go-kart. We provide the materials and you provide the creativity. Team up with your little ones to make this quick craft while supplies last. Remember to enjoy the fruits of your labor and leave some time to play with others!
