Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When are Memorial Day Deals at Home Depot in 2026?

Get ready to save when you shop The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale. We've got the major purchases you've been waiting to save on: patio furniture, outdoor power equipment, grills, appliances, and more. Some categories are up to 20% off, while others have select online items up to 40%! It's easy to shop for bargains at our sale that runs May 14 to 27 with our mobile app or in person at your local store.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?

Make certain your home is equipped for spring temperature shifts by repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that could let water come in. Keep gutters functional and clear to prevent overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If water gets inside the cracks, you might be in for a headache.

What types of moving boxes do you have?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those, too.

Do I need a generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, hurricanes, severe thunderstorms, or blizzards, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity when the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, keep in mind that inverter generators are more expensive than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off potential porch pirates. Most cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project at The Home Depot Kids Workshop this month?

Stop by the Kids Workshop to encourage future craftspeople and builders! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this goalie game. Constructing a kid-sized tabletop soccer game is a great way to hone listening abilities, fine motor skills, and creativity. This cute kids' project is happening on 6/6/2026, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
