Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

How long is The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale?

The bargains you've been waiting for are here from May 14th through May 27th! Shop huge Memorial Day Deals to upgrade every part of your house. We've got savings on storage and organization, outdoor power equipment, tools, and refrigerators, to name a few categories — but there's more! You’ll find unbelievable savings, including up to 20% off select online patio furniture and select grills and accessories. You can shop smart by checking out the deals at our Memorial Day Sale on The Home Depot mobile app or in person at our store.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?

Be certain your home is set for spring temperature swings by repairing or replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On the exterior of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that could let water seep in. Keep gutters fully functional to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

Do you carry small moving boxes?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up a variety of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados or severe thunderstorms, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, remember that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window or peephole when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project at the June Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop on June 6th, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a pint-sized goalie game! Your little builder can assemble their very own soccer craft — like the tabletop version but kid-sized. Don't forget to leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
