Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have a Spring Black Friday sale?

Get some of the best savings of the season with our Spring Black Friday Sale. Fresh patio furniture makes it easy to kick back in the spring air, and new tools help take care of that to-do list. It's also a great time for lawn and garden work outdoors, as well as setting up new appliances and cleaning indoors, all with new storage to stay organized. Don't forget to upgrade your outdoor power equipment and grill as well. Get it all done when you save during our spring sale, running only from April 9th through April 22nd. Don't miss out on these deals.

What do I do to prepare my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Be certain your home is equipped for springtime temperature changes by replacing or repairing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If moisture freezes in the cracks, you could be dealing with damage. On your home's exterior, inspect roof shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that can let water in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to winter storms. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

Do you have moving boxes?

Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Do I need a generator?

Restore power in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can watch human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.
