Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's part of The Home Depot Father's Day Sale?

This June, find Father's Day gifts that fit his interests. Explore the savings at our big Father's Day Sale, and find amazing deals on everything from patio furniture and tool storage to generators and riding lawn mowers. We've also got up to 40% off Milwaukee tools. These bargains run in-store and online from June 4–24 only, so shop fast.

How can I prepare my home for summer temps?

Make certain your home is set for relentless summer weather by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your home. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On the outside of your house, inspect shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that can let water seep in. Keep gutters clear and functional to keep rain overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

What types of moving boxes do you have?

Make moving or storage easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those as well.

Should I get a portable generator or an inverter generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

Why should I get a doorbell camera?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop in July?

Stop by the Kids Workshop to encourage future builders and craftspeople! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this toy go-kart. Constructing a small wooden toy with wheels is a great way to hone listening abilities, creativity, and fine motor skills. This cute kids' project is happening on the 4th of July, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.
