How can I prep my home for scorching summer temps?

Be certain your home is ready for summer heat by repairing or replacing faulty components of your hardscaping. If moisture gets in the crevices, you might be dealing with mold. Check bricks and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On the outside of your home, inspect shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that can let water leak in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent overflow from backing up into your home. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be swapped out if they're in poor condition.

Do you carry large moving boxes?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up a mix of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Why should I get a generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

What benefits do doorbell cameras have?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a window when you can view animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

What will the next free Kids Workshop be?

Stop by the Kids Workshop to encourage future builders! Give your children a taste of the joy of building with this rocket game. Constructing a wooden spaceship toy is a great way to sharpen fine motor skills, creativity, and listening abilities. This cute kids' project is happening on August 1st, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last.

They didn't care about the missing items and refused to refund my money.
Order # WK32291232 Everbilt 1/2 in.-13 Zinc Plated Hex Nut (50-Pack) SKU #506664 Internet #204274094 ________________________________________ Product Image Everbilt 1/2 in.-13 tpi Galvanized Hex Nut (50-Pack) SKU #538787 Internet #204274106 I ordered online, but the shipment was missing eight hex nuts, and I haven't received a refund. I called the store that delivered the incomplete order five times, but no one answered. I waited an hour and called back; a woman answered and told me to hold for a moment, but she kept me waiting for over ten minutes without returning. I tried calling again, but still got no answer—seven attempts in total, and I couldn't speak to anyone. Such a big company is getting worse and worse.

          Great store and Convenient
I've been shopping in the Holland Tunnel Store location for 15 years. Staff is always very helpful. May not always have all the products because they are a smaller store, but I check online 1st and if they have I head over, if not I order online. Store is very convenient for me. The 440 Jersey City location is a bit of a drive so I dont go unless I have to.

              Recently have been pleasantly surprised.
The employees at this Home Depot seem to really be making an effort on customer service and it shows. From entering the store, to roaming the aisles, to checkout, I've been greeted with friendly offers of assistance. Has made my visits more enjoyable. Good job!

                Worst employees ever.
I go here only if desperate fro something. The employees always make me feel like I am bothering them. They talk a lot to each other and are always on their phones. If you approach anyone they actually make you wait till they finish talking to their coworker. Anytime you stand or walk by you can hear them talking about their life parts and problems and personal on goings. They will see you looking around and walking and will never ever ask can I help you find something. For 20 years this location has been like this. The management is exactly the same. I been to so many HD across the US and none of them are like this. Honestly speaking I have to pray each time I enter that I find even one person who wont act like I am bothering them or inconveniencing them. Yesterday when I asked for help and my question seemed silly to him he asked me if I can read English or speak English and I said im educated and born here and for your info I am a physician! So way more educated than he was! But thats just one more example of how all employees at this Home Depot are. It has never changed and I see it keeps getting worse reach day. Month, and year!

                    Horrific service
Asking for help to locate a product is as if your asking them for a kidney (being sarcastic)... They just don't want to help... No one cares enough to help. I wasn't able to take out pro-packs of door molding as they were being blocked by fallen heavier moldings; I asked a person passing by to help and he heard me but didn't care. They're busy making and speaking on their personal cellphones... It's always a nightmare
