Awesome service, and so kind

I needed 3 different items that were not all together in the store. The gentleman that helped me came over as soon as I was looking for item #1. He took me to the other locations for the other 2 items making my trip fast and complete. Will shop here again! Also, beautiful flower/garden section. So much to choose from!

I went in the store for gardening supplies. I was greeted with a smile and “DO YOU NEED HELP OR CAN I HELP YOU FIND WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR?” This happened all throughout the store.

I needed help with cabinet hardware but finding a sale associate to assist me was impossible.

I was doing a home project and needed some lumber cut. Bennett made sure I had quality pieces, measured and then cut them. He helped load them in my cart. I always find plenty of helpful employees at this Home Depot

I have bought many items for my home at Athens Store #0129. I have been very pleased with my purchases! The store almost always has the items I need.

Bought dryer had to wait 8 days for delivery. When they delivered it they didnt bring the 3 prong power cord for installation which they knew they needed. It was on the order. Now I wait to wait yet again for who knows how long to get the dryer installed and operating. Poor poor service. Will never buy another thing from the Athens Home Depot.

Was searching for only two items this trip and one was in stock and the other was available on line which two different employees helped me find. The check-out employee was extremely helpful and explained how I could obtain my military discount.

They pretty much have a large range of inventory that is readily available.

I use Apple pay on my phone for all my shopping because I do not have to carry any cards and can see my itemized statements on the phone instantly any time. While they had a Great friendly staff I probably will NOT be going back without Apple Pay.

First, there is always someone around to help. I go to the lumber dept to get boards cut & there is always someone back there ready to help. Today Jared was back there and immediately asked if I needed help finding anything. I said no but I’d be back to get the boards cut once I got them in my cart. He said he could do that for me & when I got to the saw he was ready to help. Cut the boards, made sure I had the ends with the price tags on them for check out, and I was on my way. He was super friendly & helpful.

I recently made a purchase from this Home Depot location. The employees were very helpful... helped me locate the items I came for and were willing to offer advise and suggestions on the projects I am tackling. Great store!

This particular Home Depot has been an exceptional store in every respect and our most recent shopping experience was stellar. From my phone call to getting help at the store by several employees, especially Garrett and Craig, it was apparent that every staff member has consistent high morale, exceptional expertise, and an engaging and caring approach to helping every customer.

Other Home Depot’s closer but shop here because staff is so knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly.

These guys go above and beyond, making this a super pleasant shopping experience, particularly in the Garden Center. Ask for Mike, he is a customer's best friend!

The person That was my cashier was rude and practically called me a liar when I Told her I got my military discount yesterday and she said she couldn't figure out what I was supposed to get a discount on. Some of the items were not eligible for discount which was understandable but i got no discount as a veteran.

I’m not the person to play the race card, however certain things are just in plain sight. I spent a little over $500 last night for cleaning supplies & small upgrades for my airbnbs. While at self checkout the sales associate by the name of Angie proceeded to ask questions in which I initially thought was casual conversation until I realized she wasn’t paying attention to my replies, it was a decoy to move closer & watch me scan every item I had in my cart. She didn’t make eye contact with me, her eyes stayed on the cart…she also repeated questions which was confirmation she wasn’t listening to my answers. I know stores have problems with theft, I’ve worked in retail so I get it. However, that doesn’t warrant making customers feel targeted because they are a person of color. It was very obvious what she was doing & very disappointing. Please speak with her & send her to training to avoid this happening to someone else in the future…

I visited the Athens store hunting for a cleaning product they ended up not having. Savanna at the service desk came up with an alternative solution and was VERY friendly and helpful. It was a great customer experience, definitely need more people with energy and a positive disposition like Savanna!

I was looking for a charger for a Ryobi battery. The item was out of stock , but a friendly employee helped me order the charger online and it was a better buy!! I got 2 chargers and another battery for only $79!! It was delivered within 24 hours! I am so impressed!!

Plenty of staff meandering around store, however when approached they refuse to help, and tell you to get items from the garden shop yourself and bring to self checkout. They refuse to help elderly or pregnant women with heavy items or assist in any way with self checkout.

I went in the store clueless on how to make a clothesline. Woody walked me through my project step by step. He made suggestions on something I hadn’t thought about.

The Athens Home Depot consistently has the great customer service and has never been out of stock.

The staff at this store are always ready to go the extra mile to make sure my shopping experience is a good one
